We promoted Puget Paving's values-driven approach to business with rich-media and streamlined storytelling

The Challenge

Puget Paving has served commercial developers, government entities, residential associations, and residential property owners in the South Sound for over 40 years, providing a customized approach to asphalt paving and related construction. But their website didn’t present the history of the company and their customer-focused, values-centered approach to full-service civil contracting.

Our Solution

Fresh partnered with Puget Paving to craft a website full of rich-media that effectively conveys the company’s story, fosters loyalty with existing partners, and draws interest from prospective clients. From considering how to tell their company story to modernizing the brand’s visual elements, we provided an end-to-end overhaul of one of the South Sound’s most trusted paving providers.

Leading with results

A paving company’s most significant selling point is its portfolio. The services offered between competing organizations are highly similar. But Puget Paving’s key differentiator was the volume of high-profile projects throughout King and Pierce counties. Their exceptional outcomes are a better explanation for why they’re a preferred partner than anything else.

We sought to highlight Puget Paving’s results with portfolio pieces on the Lemay, America’s Car Museum, Brown’s Point Lighthouse Park, private residential paving, and more. With a combination of copy, video, and photography, we showcased Puget Paving’s results and the challenges they overcame, creating a window into their strategy-first approach and the end-value their customers can expect.

Seamlessly responsive for users on the move

Puget Paving’s customers work in both offices and the field, and we needed to ensure that wherever the site is accessed, the experience is uncompromised.

We emphasized creating an impact on both mobile and desktop devices. Photography, typography, and microinteractions were designed to transfer: wherever customers access the Puget Paving website, the experience is consistent and high-quality.

Showcasing differentiation with video

The Fresh video team partnered with Puget Paving’s stakeholders to leverage dozens of hours of existing video assets, shoot additional footage, and highlight their approach’s quality and scope.

From a bird’s eye perspective, potential customers see the massive, manicured parking lot of the Lemay. From up close, site visitors witness the people, machinery, and energy behind the work. Video was another essential component of highlighting Puget Paving’s story and showing what sets their organization apart. The video assets show customers why they should choose Puget Paving’s value-based approach to civil contracting over competitors.

It was great working with the Fresh team, as this was our first time working with a vendor on a bigger scale. [The team] was patient and persistent, and ultimately we are thrilled with the end result and level of training we have received.
